Four out of the five governors of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP have held a meeting with the governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed today Wednesday.
The governors present at the meeting include Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Samuel Ortom of Benue State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State and Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State.
Engineer Seyi Makinde of Oyo state was absent in the meeting.
The governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike and other PDP governors in his camp have called for the exit of the current national chairman of PDP, Iyorchia Ayu and expressed their unwillingness to work for Atiku Abubakar, the party’s presidential candidate, in the forthcoming 2023 general election.
