The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye has addressed the AI-generated image making rounds on social media, depicting him as an Alhaji, during the first Holy Ghost Night of the new year.
Adeboye broke silence about the image with a smile, saying, “I’m sure many of you saw that picture showing me as an Alhaji”.
The image, which depicted Adeboye dressed in Islamic attire and as a Muslim in the Holy land of Mecca, sparked widespread conversation online in late December 2023.
Talking about those who masterminded the image with the intention to mock him, he said:
“Mockers will be louder and more aggressive this year than never before but unfortunately, daddy said many of them will not survive this year. “
“I’m the one who added unfortunately because God doesn’t want the death of sinner. But many of them has decided not to repent.”
The AI-generated image portrayed the pastor in a manner that suggested he had completed the Hajj pilgrimage, with individuals who perform this ritual referred to as “Alhaji” (for men) or “Alhaja” (for women). [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
