Oyo State First Lady visits hospitals, makes donation to first three babies born on Christmas Day

Oyo State First Lady, Tamunominini Makinde, has visited hospitals in Oyo State to celebrate the arrival of the first three babies born on Christmas Day.

Makinde presented gifts, cash, and other items to the newborns and their mothers, upon her visit to the hospitals, spreading love in the holiday spirit.

According to a statement shared on the Oyo First Lady’s Facebook page on Wednesday, 25th of December 2024 the first baby, a girl, was born at 12:40 a.m. at the State Hospital, Owode. The second baby, a boy, was delivered at the Oba Adeyemi Primary Healthcare Centre, Durbar. While the third baby, another girl, was also born at the State Hospital, Owode, all in Oyo Town.

Makinde’s statement reads:

“Her Excellency, Engr. Tamunominini Makinde was in Oyo town today to present gifts to the first three babies born on Christmas Day.

“The first child,a female, was given birth to at 12:40am at the State Hospital, Owode,while the second child, a male, was given birth to at the Oba Adeyemi Primary Healthcare Centre, Durbar. The third child, a female,was also given birth to at the State Hospital, Owode all in Oyo Town.

“Her Excellency extended warm wishes to the families of the new babies, and also mentioned that the babies share the same birth date with His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, her husband. She prayed that may the lives of the babies be filled with endless possibilities,while she wished all the staff a merry Christmas.
