Zenith Bank branches in owerri, the state capital of Imo state was sealed by Policemen on Thursday 2nd of June, 2022.
This action has left the branch staff and customers of the bank stranded in the area.
According to report gathered the sealing action is as a result of an absolute Garnishee Order by the National Industrial Court in Owerri against the bank in a suit filed by a Eze Madumere, a former deputy governor of Imo state, over his entitlements in the bank.
The action had left the banking activities deserted as both staff and customers were deprived of their activities.
