Assorted small armed of Over 3,000 recovered across country were destroyed at the Nigerian Army Command Engineering Depot, Rigachukun, Kaduna State on Thursday.
The destroying process was carried out by the National Centre for Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons headed by the Major General Abba Mohammed Dikko (retd).
Meanwhile, the National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno (retd.), has revealed that retrieving and destroying Small Arms and Light Weapons, were the surest way to sustainable peace in the country.
