Agojeju-Odo, a village in Omala Local Government Area of Kogi state was overrun by several thugs on Friday.
According to reports, the armed men are suspected of shooting neighbors and setting houses on fire.
SP William Aya, the public relations officer for the state police, confirmed the attack and mentioned that tactical units had been sent to the area by state Commissioner of Police Bethrand Onuoha.
“Yes, there was an assault in the Omala community. The enforcement team and other security agencies have been dispatched by the CP.
In order to “uncover the perpetrators and determine the cause of the attack,” Aya stated that an investigation is still underway. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
