Ousmane Dembélé Completes Historic Double, Crowned FIFA Best Men’s Player

Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembélé has secured the prestigious FIFA Best Men’s Player award, achieving a historic individual double after his recent Ballon d’Or win.

The French international enjoyed a phenomenal season between August 2024 and 2025, delivering 35 goals and 16 assists in 53 appearances. His pivotal performances were instrumental in driving PSG to victory across multiple tournaments, including the UEFA Champions League, Ligue 1, and the Coupe de France.

In a notable endorsement, legendary forward Lionel Messi placed Dembélé at the top of his voting ballot, ranking him ahead of Kylian Mbappé and Barcelona’s young star Lamine Yamal.

Dembélé’s success highlighted a strong showing for PSG in the FIFA awards. The official FIFA Men’s World 11 featured several of his teammates, including goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, defender Achraf Hakimi, and midfielder Vitinha, alongside other global stars like Cole Palmer and Jude Bellingham.

However, the final selection sparked some debate with the omission of Barcelona’s Raphinha. The Brazilian winger had an outstanding season, contributing 38 goals and 24 assists and earning La Liga honors, but was ultimately left out of the world’s elite squad.
