Mr. Lasun Yusuf, the Labour Party flag bearer for the July 16 Osun governorship poll, has reacted to the shooting at his Ilobu home on Monday 11th of July, 2022.
The Labour Party flagbearer, Mr. Yusuf raised an alarm taking to his twitter handle. The said attack was confirmed by Wole Oladimeji, his media aide.
Oladimeji revealed that the ex-deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, and his family members, who had just returned home for the Eid Kabir celebration were all in the house when the gunmen struck in the early hours of the day, Monday 11th.
Mr. Yusuf reacting to the shooting today brought out a verse of the Islamic book on those who plot evil against him.
According to him, “And (remember) when the disbelievers plotted against you to imprison you, or to kill you, or to expel you (from your home, Makkah); they were plotting and Allah too was plotting; and Allah is the best of plotters. Quran 8 verse 30.”
