Ondo state Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has presented the instrument of appointment and Staff of Office to His Royal Majesty, Oba Isiaka Oseni Adu, as the new Alale of Akungba-Akoko, in Akoko South West Local Government Area.
The Governor, in a statement on his official X page, described the event as historic, noting that it ends years of disputes within the community over the traditional stool.
Aiyedatiwa added that the recognition of Oba Adu underscores his administration’s commitment to fairness, justice, equity, and peace across Ondo State.
He congratulated the new monarch on his ascension, expressing hope that his reign will usher in unity, progress, and prosperity for the people of Akungba-Akoko.
