The Nigeria Customs Service in Ogun state Area One Command, has revealed that it impounded 44,933 bags of smuggled foreign rice between February and December 2022.
Comptroller Bamidele Makinde Who is the Controller of the Ogun State Command, revealed this on Tuesday at a briefing on the activities of the command held at its headquarters in Idi-Iroko, Ipokia Local Government Area of the Ogun state.
The command also revealed that the operatives intercepted 2,250 tramadol, 940 wraps of cannabis sativa and other smuggled items with Duty Paid Value of N4bn in the last nine months of 2022.
