Rapper Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck has been crowned the Next Rated Artist at the 17th Headies Awards, edging out strong competition from fellow nominees Shallipopi, Qing Madi and Ayo Maff.
The Next Rated award, one of the night’s most highly coveted honours, celebrates rising stars making a major impact on the Nigerian music scene.
Presented by music superstar Davido, the award recognises Odumodublvck’s bold blend of gritty rap, street authenticity, and cultural storytelling—a unique style that has quickly earned him a devoted fanbase.
Odumodublvck broke into the mainstream with his hit single “Declan Rice,” showcasing his sharp lyricism and vibrant energy.
Known for weaving Nigerian street life into his music, he has been praised for pushing the boundaries of modern Nigerian rap.
The 17th Headies, held on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the Landmark Event Centre in Lagos, gathered some of the biggest names in the industry for a night of electrifying performances and top honors.
