The Order of the Eagle of Zambia has been conferred on the Olusegun Obsanjo, the former president of Nigeria.

According to a statement issued out by Kehinde Akinyemi, his media aide, on Thursday, 13th of July, 2022, The former president, Obasanjo received the honour alongside Ellen Sirleaf Johnson, the Ex president of Liberia, Ellen and also Ernest Sai Koroma, the Ex president of Sierra Leone.
