‘No Safe Haven For Crim!nals In Abia State’ – Deputy Speaker, Benjamin Kalu warns after k!lling of Chinese nationals, Others

Benjamin Kalu, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives has warned that there is no safe haven for criminals operating in Abia State and its environs.

Kalu while reacting to the killing of two Chinese national and their police escorts who were headed to a mining site in Isuikwuato Local Government Area of the state, Kalu said such act is condemnable.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, 8th of April 2025, by his Chief Press Secretary, Levinus Nwabughiogu, the Deputy Speaker said such brutal killing is unacceptable.

Kalu while commiserating with the families of the deceased and the Nigeria Police Force called for a thorough investigation into the killing.Nigerian political art prints

He also said that there is a need to arrest the perpetrators of such act and bring them to face justice in accordance with the law.
