“No Man Will Marry a Woman Who Cannot Be Submissive” – Pastor Chris Okafor Delivers Blunt Marriage Sermon

Pastor Chris Okafor has delivered a direct and contentious sermon addressing arrogance and marital expectations, using pointed language during a recent Sunday service.

He called out specific behaviors, stating, “you are very arrogant and you talk to people anyhow,” and noted that even when corrected, such a person defiantly claims, “i don’t respect anybody and i am not okay.” Pastor Okafor described this attitude, particularly from a young woman, as unacceptable.

He then linked this character to marriage prospects, posing the questions: “which man would want to marry you when they know you are not okay? or when they know you have slept with different men?” Acknowledging that his message might be difficult to hear, he asserted, “god forbid, i know what i am saying might be painful, but the truth is always bitter.”

Expanding his critique, the pastor remarked, “you are always arrogant and rude to people when you don’t even have a father that has a name.” On the core issue of marriage, he presented a firm doctrinal stance: “there is no man that will marry a woman that cannot be submissive,” a position he supported with biblical references.
