NNPC has not began lifting of petrol from refinery – Dangote Group reveals

Dangote Industries Limited has dismissed claims that the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has started lifting Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) commonly known as Petrol from Dangote Petroleum Refinery.

They further disclosed that the issue of fixing the price of petrol lifted from our refinery cannot arise yet as they are yet to finalise their contract with the NNPC.

This was made known via a statement by the Dangote Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, on Thursday, 5th of September, 2024.

Therefore, the issue of fixing the price of petrol lifted from our refinery does not arise, as we are yet to finalize our contract with NNPC.
