Members of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC are currently in a solidarity protest with the striking varsity teachers in Lagos state.
The ASUU union have been on strikes since 14th of February, 2022 and now heading to its sixth months.
However, NLC is using the opportunity to bring the federal government attention to other issues affecting the nation, such as the hike in fuel price.
Reports stated that the ASUU-NEC will hold it congress this weekend to decide on the next line of action. Meanwhile, the federal government is yet to address the major issues why the striking varsity teachers are on strike.
