The National Judicial Council has recommended Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun to be the next Chief Justice of Nigeria.
The recommendation was made at the NJC’s 106th meeting presided over by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, who will formally bow out of office on 22nd of August, 2024, having attained the mandatory retirement age of 70.
The closed-door meeting initially slated for Friday, August 16, was but brought forward to Thursday, 15th of August, 2024, in Abuja.
The NJC also made recommendation for 27 others as judges of the state high court in the meeting. [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
