A nine-year-old girl in the Country of Zimbabwe, has been delivered of a baby at the United Bulawayo Hospitals.
It was gathered that the new baby was born on Monday via a caesarean section.
The UBH acting clinical director Dr Harrison Rambanapasi said that “I wish to inform the nation that our nine-year-old has given birth at UBH. Our specialists performed the C-section in the early hours of today. The outcome is a healthy baby girl with a weight just above 3kg. Both the mother and the baby are in a stable condition.”
Meanwhile, the Dad of the minor was nabbed by the police in August when it was discovered that his daughter was pregnant.
The dad was the only male relative the victim lived with. Also, the victim alleged that the abuse only occurred only at night hours.
Dr Auzillia Mnangagwa, Who is the Zimbabwean First Lady, paid a visit to the then pregnant victim during the weekend with groceries and other relief materials.
