Pastor Emmanuel Iren, Lead Pastor of Celebration Church International, has recently spoken out about sexual assault allegations that have surfaced within his ministry.
In a video address, Iren expressed concern over the rise of false accusations and emphasised the critical need for clarity around the concept of consent. He revealed that, of the cases reported to him, investigations showed that 9 out of 10 lacked credibility.
Reflecting on his initial response, Iren admitted he was often angry and quick to take action against the accused. However, deeper investigations frequently revealed that many of the claims were baseless.
He cited one particular case where a woman who initially alleged assault later described the experience in a message as “a nice time,” raising further questions about the authenticity of some reports.
He said:

I called the guy and swore I would jail him until he sent a WhatsApp evidence. The girl who claimed she was assaulted said ‘It was a nice time’ in the chat.”
The pastor emphasised that ending a relationship should not be a basis for s3xual assault allegations, suggesting that some accusations may stem from relationship issues rather than actual assault.
“Ending a relationship should not be a ground for sexual assault allegations,” he said. [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
