Nigerians Queue At Fulling Stations With Generator Amid Fuel Scarcity

Some Nigerians have been seen queueing at filling stations with their generator sets in order to purchase fuel in the country.

A tweep identified as Authenticvoice via the ‘bird app’ shared video from the struggle.

The video was captioned, “Omo?? to buy fuel you have to bring your generator or fuel tank????”

Fuel scarcity and shortage of newly redesigned naira notes have been current struggle in the country.

Meanwhile, few fuel station sell at the rate of N170, other sells at the rate of N350.

While this tarries Mele Kyari, Group Chief Executive Officer, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC Limited, has apologised to Nigerians over lingering fuel scarcity in the country.

Kyari tendered his apology with Nigerian while appearing addressing the situation on Tuesday evening.

“I apologise for the situation on behalf of all of us in the oil and gas industry.” He said.

The group CEO also assured Nigerians that the queues at the fuel oil and gas stations would disappear as soon as possible, adding that there would be significant improvement in the next one week.
