Troops from the Nigerian Army’s 6 Brigade showed their tenacity by fighting back against violent extremists and terrorists in Taraba State’s Bali Local Government Area.
In response to information that armed gangs were present in the Bali Local Government’s Nayinaya, Garin Daniel, and Garbatau regions, the troops of 20 Battalion immediately began a proactive combat patrol to hunt down the extremists.
When the military encountered the armed groups, they used their superior firepower to take out two radicals and retrieve two AK-47 rifles, four AK-47 magazines, and fifty-six rounds of 7.62 mm special ammunition.
While praising the soldiers for their prompt action, the commander of 6 Brigade asked the people to furnish timely information so that the forces could eradicate any criminal activity from the region. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
