The Nigerian Senate on Tuesday, 23rd of July, 2024, at plenary, passed the 2024 National Minimum Wage Amendment Act Bill.
The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio during the plenary said:
“Distinguished colleagues, a bill for an act to amend the National Minimum Wage Act 2019 and to increase the national minimum wage and reduce the time for periodic review of the national minimum wage from five years to three years and related matters 2024, third reading.
“Distinguished colleagues, a bill for an act to amend the National Minimum Wage Act 2019 and to increase the national minimum wage from 30,00 to 70,000 and reduce the time for periodic review of the national minimum wage from five years to three years and related matters 2024, a third reading taken and passed.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
