Nigerian Man Laments As Policemen Arrests Brother, Friend, Demand N50,000 Before Release

Onikola Gbolahan, a social media user has lamented how some Nigerian policemen from Orile Iganmu station arrested his brother and friend during the weekend, Saturday, while they were waiting for him (Onikola) to bring their house keys.

Onikola, who took to his twitter handle today Sunday shared the situation. He disclosed that the policeman in charge of the case is demanding the sum of N50,000, before the duo are released.

According to him “, “My name is Onikola Mustapha Gbolahan. I am here to make a complaint about an illegal arrest of my brother and his friend by the Orile Iganmu police, who just got back from work last night as at 9pm last night waiting for me to bring the key. Both of them where arrested without any tangible reason & the officer in charge is requesting for a sum of 50,000 before the both of them can be released.”

Onikola in a latest development disclosed that the Divisional Police Officer is currently handling the issue.
