Troops of the Nigerian Army stationed in the North West for counterterrorism and counterinsurgency operations effectively ambushed and eliminated two terrorists who were passing through Kaduna with weapons.
The operation, which happened in Giwa Local Government Area’s Rafin Sariki Village, was a timely reaction to actionable intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists traveling with a bag holding weapons.
Two of the terrorists were neutralized by the army after they ambushed and engaged them in gun combat. Along with one AK-47 weapon, fifty-two rounds of unique 7.62mm ammo, and a locally made revolver frame, the brave soldiers also found one.
