Nollywood actor Amaechi Muonagor, a veteran in the industry, has sadly passed away at the age of 61 after a long battle with kidney failure.

“He was a talented Nollywood actor whose presence on our screens was truly masterful.
“We watched with concern as he battled health issues, offering whatever support we could to help him seek treatment in India.
“This tragic loss highlights the need for better healthcare in our country.”
In a video that went viral, the actor was seen lying on a bed with his colleague Kingsley Orji by his side, making an emotional plea on his behalf.
Born on August 20, 1962, Muonagor hailed from Idemili in Anambra State, southeast Nigeria. He was not only an actor but also a producer.
In 2016, he received a nomination for Best Actor in Comedy at the AMVCA 2017.
