Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the Director General, World Trade Organisation, WTO, has cried out the delay of electoral officials at her polling unit in Abia State.
The WTO DG stated she has been in her PU in Umuda Isingwu village, Umuahia, the capital city of Abia state, since 7:00 am and is yet to cast her vote because of the absence of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC officials.
In the absence of the electoral commission, the DG WTO took to her twitter handle and said, “Waiting to vote at my polling station in Umuda Isingwu village, Umuahia, Abia State. I have been waiting one hour,”
She further disclosed that many people in her village also arrived at 7 am and it is 11:23 am without any INEC officials in sight to commence the electoral processes.
“Where are the INEC officers?” Iweala queried.
