Falconet team of Nigeria have been spotted sleeping on floor and chairs of the Turkey, airport in Istanbul, on their way back to Nigeria.
The Nigeria female team was beaten by Netherland out of the quarter finals game of the 2022 Under-20 Women’s World Cup on Sunday.
Colin Udoh Who is the the Super Eagles ex media officer, shared the photos from the moment on his social media handle and captioned “Nigeria’s #Falconets have been traveling from Costa Rica since 6:30am on Monday.
“They’re now in Istanbul on a 24-hour layover and sleeping on the airport chairs and floor, or wherever they can find.”
