Some Nigerians in Diaspora Commission has confirmed that Kizz Daniel, has been released from Tanzania police custody.
It was recalled in a viral video on social media today (Monday) showed the moment Tanzanian authorities arrested the singer, in a black hooded shirt.
Reacting, NiDCOM, in a tweet today, disclosed that Kizz Daniel was being held at Oyster Bay Police Station Civil Police in Dar es Salaam, in the country of Tanzania.
At the time of filling this report, there was no official report from the Tanzania police that the popular singer has been released, but Nigerians in diaspora Commission confirmed the incident.
“We are presently engaging our Mission and see what can be done. We will keep the public posted with our investigation. Thank you,” the diaspora Commission in Tanzania added.
NiDCOM giving a report on the development said “Kizz Daniel has been released. His legal team will, however, report back to the police tomorrow while he will subsequently return to Nigeria.”
