Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency have discovered cocaine concealed in commercial trucks’ engine compartments and tire tubes.
The Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, posted a video displaying the seized contraband coupled with this information on his X account on Sunday.
Babafemi questioned if passengers should now check vehicle components before boarding and voiced alarm about the drug dealers’ growing desperation.
Sharing videos, he wrote, “Narco-trend update: The desperation by drug traffickers is appalling. So, should passengers start searching the engine compartment and tyre tubes of commercial vehicles before they board now?
