NDLEA Nabs Kuje Prison Escapee Today, At Abuja Motor Park

Th NDLEA, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has announced that it has arrested Suleiman Sidi, one of the suspects, who escaped from the kuje prison during the terror attack last Tuesday.

Femi Babafemi, the NDLEA Director, media and Advocacy signed a statement today Monday, 11th of July, 2022.

In the statement signed, it was disclosed that the suspect was nabbed by the agency at a motor park in Abuja.

The NDLEA who disclosed this shared the development on their social media platform.

Part of the statement read, via Facebook handle, stated, “The fleeing terror suspect, Suleiman Sidi, was arrested in the early hours of Monday 11th July at Area 1 motorpark, in the Federal Capital Territory while attempting to board a commercial vehicle to Maiduguri, Borno state. When he was searched, three wraps of cannabis sativa were found on him.”

“During preliminary interview, the wanted terror suspect confimed he was remanded at the Kuje Correctional Centre for terrorism and robbery charges, adding that he was indeed one of the inmates who escaped from the facility last Tuesday.”

Meanwhile, following wanted list issued out from the Nigerian Correctional Services, Suleiman Idi resembles on the suspect nabbed.
