Men of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have thwarted attempts to smuggle illegal drugs to the United Kingdom (UK) after discovering them hidden in parcels of tiger nuts and bags of groundnuts.
This was disclosed in videos on the X handle of the Agency’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, on Sunday, 10th of November 2024.
Babafemi further warned citizens to always search packages thoroughly to be aware of their contents before accepting them.
He wrote:
“Again, never accept any package on your journey, no matter how genuine it looks, without a thorough search.
