NDLEA Arrests ‘Wanted’ Drug Kingpin In Abia State, Seals Properties

The Nigerian Drug and Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA officials have nabbed one Onyeaghalachi Stephen Nwagwugwu, on allegations of being a major supplier of illicit drug in the South-East and South-South parts of Nigeria.

Femi Babafemi Who is the Director, Media, Advocacy of the drug agency made known via the agency’s official Facebook handle in a statement signed on Tuesday.

The anti-drug agency revealed that Nwagwugwu and his elder brother, Eze Stephen, have been on the wanted list of the agency for about nine years now. However, the latter escaped the operation to arrest him.

It was also reported that during the raid, quantity of cocaine and other illicit drugs were found in his house.

The statement reads, “During the raid, quantities of cocaine and variants of cannabis were recovered from two houses while the agency has so far sealed two hotels, one eatery, two mansions linked to them and recovered three exotic vehicles from their homes as efforts are ongoing to trace more of their bank accounts and properties,” part of the statement
