NBC Debt: We’re Making Efforts To Pay Up, Says Kwara State Broadcasting Corporation

The Kwara State Broadcasting Corporation, had announced their efforts to pay up the Nigeria Broadcasting Commission, NBC.

NBC had yesterday updated a list of debtors on Friday and revoked their licences. And which the Kwara state broadcasting Stations was among.

However, according to a statement issued out Kayode Aremu, the General Manager, Radio Kwara, the debt was acknowledged that has accumulated since 2006 and has made a promise to settle it.

“We acknowledge that the debt has accumulated from 2006, and consistent efforts are already being made to settle it.

“Apart from the N10m of the longstanding debt already settled by the current administration as of November 30, 2021, His Excellency Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has assured the stations of immediate resolution of the debt, which stands at N20.5m.” The statement reads partly
