Alhaji Jibril Dardau, the General Manager of Cooperate Affairs of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), passed away in Lokoja, Kogi State.
According to a family source, Dardau collapsed and passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024, not long after leading an early morning prayer at the mosque.
“He slumped in his sitting room this morning. He had been managing High Blood Pressure, BP for sometimes now,” the source who craved anonymity said.
“He lost his most senior wife last year.”
As word of his unexpected death spread early in the morning, the NIWA cooperative headquarters in Lokoja was plunged into sadness.
