Natasha tried to embarrass Nigeria with ‘false narratives’ to IPU — Godswill Akpabio

Nigeria Senate President Godswill Akpabio has reacted to claims by the suspended Kogi Central lawmaker, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, which she reported to the United Nations Inter-parliamentary union in New York on Tuesday.

Natasha claimed that she was suspended from the Senate for accusing the Senate President of sexual harassment.

However in a letter to the IPU, by the Senate leader, Opeyemi Bamidele, the senate debunked Natasha’s claim, adding that she was suspended for disobeying the rules of the institution and not because of her petition against anyone.
