The official market has seen the naira continue to rise dramatically; on Tuesday, it was trading at N1,278.58 to the US dollar.
Data from the FMDQ’s official trading portal showed that, on Thursday, March 28, 2024, just before the Easter weekend, the Naira gained N30.81, or 2.35 percent, versus the dollar at a rate of N1,309.39.
Nevertheless, as per the NAN data, the overall turnover decreased to $111.18 million on Tuesday, from $857.78 million on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
In the meanwhile, the Naira fluctuated in value against the dollar between N1,312.00 and N1,250.00 at the Investors and Exporters (I&E) market. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
