The Nigeria President, General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) has said that Nigerians should expect improvements between now and on the 10th of February, 2023.
In a statement released by the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, revealed that he’s aware of the untold hardship facing Nigerians on the account of the newly redesigned and the scarcity naira notes which has affected Nigerians and business owners.
He noted that the government is doing its best to resolve the lingering issues and that Nigerians should expect significant improvements between now and the deadline for the old notes.
According to him, “ I am aware of cash shortages and hardship being faced by people and businesses, on account of the Naira redesign. I want to assure that we are doing everything to resolve the issues. Nigerians should expect significant improvements between now and the February 10 deadline”.
The Central bank of Nigerian through it governor, Godwin Emefiele extended the old note deadline to 10 of February, 2023.
