During the commissioning of the state’s magistrate courts complex in Port Harcourt, President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu vowed to fight corruption in the judiciary and make it unattractive.
Tinubu stated that his administration would bring about necessary changes in the judiciary to combat corruption.
According to him, providing better living and working conditions for judges is crucial in curbing corruption in the judiciary.
Tinubu also pointed out that lack of consumer credit and the inability of workers to acquire property without resorting to corruption are issues that need to be addressed.
Tinubu promised to review all of these in a policy think tank.
