Music Icon, Davido Appears On Forbes Magazine Cover, Singer Shares Excitement

Adeleke David, a Nigerian music star and a songwriter iconic, Davido, professionally known as 30BG boss has appeared on the cover of the American popular business magazine, Forbes.

The ‘Timeless’ crooner shared the cover photo of himself in the magazine via his Twitter page on Saturday.

The singer also expressed his excitement, saying,

“Emi n’ikan I be godfather oh! Thank you to the amazing #forbes team. Had fun doing this! Feature out now – check it out! “

In other news, Adeleke David, Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, set an African record on the US iTunes Albums Chart with his newly released album ‘Timeless’.

The ‘Timeless’ album clinched to the highest on the charts, making history as the first African album to do so in the globe’s largest music market.

Chart data, the music charts, confirmed the development in one of their Twitter updates.

It was also announced on the music streaming app’s via their Twitter page, few days to it release.

The album had over 12 million streams in its first 24 hours.

The platform tweeted, “? RECORD-BREAKING: #davido’s #Timeless had over 12 MILLION streams in its first 24 hours, more than any other album on Audiomack, ever! ? ?Keep streaming, keep supporting: http://amack.it/Timeless#KeepTheBeatGoing?.”

Also, the album is also currently No. 1 on the Nigerian Top Albums Chart, the UK Top Albums Chart, and in 17 other countries on Apple Music. The newest album, ‘Timeless’ has set a new record for the most first-day streams by an African album on Apple Music, freshreporters had noted.

The Apple Music itself revealed made this known on Monday in a tweet shared via Apple Music Twitter handle.

Apple Music tweeted “.#davido is breaking global records. The Nigerian superstar’s #Timeless had the most first-day streams ever for an African album on Apple Music.”

The ‘Timeless’ album amassed one million streams on Boomplay in just six hours after it was released on the streaming platform on Friday, 31st of March, 2023.
