Suspected herdsmen raided the Adijah community in Ugbokpo, Apa Local Government Area, Benue State, on Thursday afternoon, leaving many people feared dead and others injured.
It was gathered that the attackers entered the area and began firing at the residents, killing an undetermined number of them.
One of the locals who recounted the incident said that the residents had no choice but to flee to neighboring communities.
