A mother, Busola Oyediran and her lover, Akebiara Emmanuel have been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command, for allegedly physically assaulting their two children aged five years and two.
It was gathered on Friday that the couple in the Egbeda/Idimu area of Lagos, were nabbed following reports by their neighbours.
The neighbours of the couple who saw them subjecting the minors to torture resulting in injuries on various parts of their bodies, called the attention of Lagos policemen.
When contacted, SP Benjamin Hundeyin who is the state Police Public Relations Officer, PRO, confirmed the arrest of the couple in connection with the minors’ assault where there’s severe injuries.
