On Monday, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem officially swore in Sean Curran as the new director of the U.S. Secret Service.
The swearing-in ceremony took place in the Oval Office, with President Donald Trump and Noem in attendance to welcome Curran to his new role.
Sean Curran was part of the group of Secret Service agents who acted swiftly to shield then-presidential candidate Donald Trump during a failed assassination attempt on July 13 in Butler.
