Moment Gov Seyi Makinde presents staff of office to 43rd Olubadan of Ibadan

The Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, on Friday, 12th of July, 2024, presented the staff and the instrument of office to the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin.

Makinde made the presentation at the Mapo Hall in Ibadan.

While presenting, Makinde said:

“Now therefore, I, Engineer Seyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, by the power conferred upon me as the Governor by sub-sections (1) and (2) of Section 20 of the Chiefs Law Cap 28 Vol.1 Laws of Oyo State of Nigeria, 2000, I hereby present the Staff of Office, ratified the appointment of Oba Owolabi Olakulehin as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.”

The Olubadan seat became vacant after the passing of the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun, who died at the age of 81 after ruling for two years. [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
