An American Airlines aircraft transporting 64 people and a military helicopter on Wednesday night collided.
The collision resulted in a devastating crash into the Potomac River.
American Eagle Flight 5342, carrying 60 passengers and four crew members, was approaching Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on Wednesday night when it collided with the Black Hawk helicopter (military helicopter), which had three crew members onboard.
A law enforcement officer at the location informed CBS News that three separate debris fields could be seen in the river, and by 11:30 p.m. ET, at least 18 bodies had been retrieved. [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
