Abubakar Musa, better known as Gucci Branch, an associate of Marlian Music Boss, Afeez Fashola professionally known as Naira Marley, has cleared the air on the status of his relationship with the record label and its boss.
Marlian Music has been making round the country since last week, following the untimely death of a former signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba, Popularly known as MohBad, last Tuesday, 12th of September, 2023.
In an X post(formerly twitter) on Wednesday, 19th of September, 2023 Musa who has kept a low profile since 2019, following his arrest alongside Naira Marley; singer Omoniyi Raphael, better known as Zlatan Ibile; fashion entrepreneur, Rahman Jago; and two others by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA resurfaced to deny affiliations with Marlian Music gang.
He said,
“I heard they are searching for me, why are people searching for me?
“I ran for my life since 2019, I’m lowkey now.
