Missing 16month old Toddler Found L!feless with Body Parts Missing

A disturbing incident unfolded at Green Heritage College of Education in Games Village, Bauchi, where a 16-month-old child named Muhammad Abidin went missing while his mother attended a lecture. Unfortunately, the child’s lifeless body has been discovered, bearing signs of a horrifying fate.

Saudatu Abdullahi, the grieving mother, revealed to local media outlet Labari Daga Bauchi that her son’s body was found lifeless, with his eyes, nose, and mouth cruelly missing.

The tragic discovery was made eight days after the child went missing, within the school’s premises, specifically in a drainage system.

Recounting the sequence of events, Abdullahi shared, “On August 19th, I was attending classes at Games Village in Bauchi, and my son Abidin was with me. During a test, he left the classroom to play, as he usually did. Although I initially brought him back, he managed to leave again without my notice.”

“Upon finishing my test, I started searching for him. Despite searching all the places he frequented, I couldn’t locate him. I found his shoes hanging near a window in another classroom. Hoping he might be inside, I entered that classroom, but he wasn’t there. I checked all classrooms and even culverts, but he remained missing.”

As the mother grew increasingly concerned, she informed her lecturer and classmates, and their collective search efforts proved fruitless.

The police were contacted, and the search continued. Tragically, Abidin’s lifeless body was discovered after days of searching, severely decomposed and with disturbingly missing body parts.

The child’s father, Al-Kasim, shared his heartbreak, recounting how he found his son’s remains. He recounted receiving a call about his son’s disappearance and reporting the case to authorities.

Al-Kasim clung to hope for his son’s safe return until the devastating moment he was informed about the grim discovery.

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, expressed his shock and condolences to the family during a visit. He promptly ordered the immediate closure of the school, emphasizing the need to investigate the matter thoroughly.

The Governor, accompanied by the State Commissioner of Police and other officials, stressed the urgency of addressing such gruesome crimes and ensuring the safety of children.
