Black Marine, a Separatist militant group, have fired explosives killing at least 10 Cameroon Gendarmes and the Rapid d’intervention Battalions, BIR, to recapture oil firms staff quarters in Atabong East area of Bakassi Peninsula.
According to report gathered, the militants were revealed to have drove with two speed boats with white powder on their faces when they surprisingly took the Cameroonian security operatives unawares.
It could be recalled after that series of attempts has been made to invade the staff quarters after the Cameroonian Forces dislodged the Biafra loyalist group from the area to takeover the quarters weeks ago.
Eye witness account that residence have fled the staff quarters to neighboring towns.
The incidence happened at 12pm on Tuesday, 21st of November, 2023.
