Tragedy struck the University campus on Friday evening 5th of July 2024, After an unidentified dead body was found in a drainage system at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), wrapped and Dumped in the school premises.
The decomposing body was found around UNN stadium junction / Eni-Njoku Boys Hostel on the busy road leading to behind flat.
The unidentified corpse was discovered by students as they were returning from evening lectures, The University of Nigeria Nsukka security department arrived at the scene, took the body to deposit at the University medical centre morgue and dispersed the large crowd gathered at the scene where the body was dumped.
According to information gathered from sources, reveal that a female 100 Level student in the department of Medical Laboratory (med lab) has been missing since Tuesday after Chem 171 practicals.
