World Technology giant, Microsoft says it will be helping the country to train at least five million Nigerians within the next few years as part of ways to help the country uphold its digital economy.
Brad Smith, the Microsoft President, disclosed this development on Friday 1st of April, 2022 when he paid the Nigerian President, General Muhammadu Buhari at the state house today, a friendly visit.
Brad Smith said, 60,000 people have already applied courses to train while already 300,000 have finished some courses pertaining to the digital technology.
This development is coming barely few weeks after the tech company launched a $200 million African Development Centre located in Lagos state, Nigeria.
Buhari, the Nigerian president commended the stances from Brad Smith, the Microsoft tech president, saying the country is glad to welcome more initiatives and investments in digital technology in the country.
