Usman Yusuf and Abdulrafiu Ashir, have been moor before the magistrate court over stealing of spaghetti.
The young men have been remanded on Monday over the allegations of breaking into a store to steal cartons full of spaghetti.
However, the young men were arraigned at the Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court in the state and have been charged for stealing, conspiracy and conduct of peace breaching, also pleaded guilty of charges. Yusuf of 28 years old and Ashiru of 24years who told cartons of spaghetti worth N352,000.
The Chief Magistrate, Mrs A. O. Akinde, ordered their remand at the Correctional Centre of ikoyi.
The prosecutor, which is inspector Osagiede, had earlier stated to the court that the accused engaged in an atrocity on 12th of March,2022 around 3:00am at the Iddo Plaza, Ebute Meta Lagos State.
Osagiede the prosecutor says, that’ both of them broke into Mr Adewale Sanusi store and stole spaghetti worth N352,000.
The offences breach the law of Sections 168(d), 287 and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The court further postpone the case till April 4 for review of certainty and pronounce possible judgement in the court.
